Supply Chain Manager

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Supply Chain Manager for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

In this role, you will manage and develop a team of supply chain professionals to execute enterprise sourcing strategies. This position will focus on technology procurement, including software licensing and high-volume hardware/software purchasing, while overseeing supplier initiatives, negotiations, and contracting activities.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and develop a highly skilled team of supply chain professionals, to align and execute enterprise sourcing strategies and supplier capabilities to achieve companywide business objectives
• Identify and recommend opportunities for supply chain management, life cycle activities, new sources and technologies as business requirements evolve
• Manage a team of category experts that have responsibility for companywide supplier initiatives, negotiations and contracting activities
• Support governance and control programs to ensure business continuity, protect company assets, and compliance with corporate and regulatory policies
• Make decisions and resolve issues regarding supply chain policies, strategies, and processes to optimize sourcing efficiencies and measure supplier performance
• Implement process and management systems, maintain current understanding of various industry best practices, commodity, spend category benchmarks and supplier capabilities
• Collaborate with and consult with peers, colleagues and multiple level managers interact directly with external customers
• Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Supply Chain
• Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent

Requirements:

• 4+ years of Supply Chain experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
• Experience working technology procurement. This includes Software Licensing or high volume hardware/software purchasing
• Understanding of Terms of Service, Contracts, and agreements as it relates to sourcing and purchasing

Desired skills:

• Certification in CRISC, / CISA / ISO
• Lean, Six Sigma Black Belt Certified
• Experience working in large financial services environment

Pay range: $40.00 - $48.00 per hour
