Remote | Technical Recruiter & Interviewer — $40-$50/hour

We are sharing a specialised part‑time consulting opportunity for experienced technical recruiters and interviewers with a strong background assessing senior engineering talent and making structured hiring recommendations. This role supports a technical expert programme focused on areas including GPU kernel development, security and vulnerability research, and ML compiler and accelerator engineering. Selected professionals will conduct short structured interviews, assess candidates against established criteria, and provide concise, evidence‑based recommendations to the programme team. Key Responsibilities Technical Candidate Interviews Conduct approximately 20-minute structured interviews with shortlisted technical experts Assess candidates' technical depth, communication skills, and suitability for specialised technical evaluation work Follow a provided interview framework and evaluation rubric Ask targeted follow‑up questions where additional evidence is needed Maintain a professional, structured, and time‑efficient interview experience Engineering Talent Assessment Evaluate senior engineering candidates across specialised technical domains Assess the strength and relevance of candidates' professional experience Identify evidence supporting or weakening candidate fit Distinguish genuine technical depth from high‑level familiarity Apply consistent judgement across candidates with different backgrounds Candidate Evaluation & Tiering Categorise candidates using defined outcomes such as advance, hold, or pass Provide clear reasoning for each recommendation Identify material concerns or potential red flags Ensure decisions are supported by information gathered during the interview Apply evaluation criteria consistently across the candidate pool Interview Documentation Write concise post‑interview summaries for the programme team Capture relevant evidence regarding candidate experience and fit Document key strengths, concerns, and unresolved questions Produce clear recommendations that can support downstream hiring decisions Maintain accuracy and consistency across interview records Availability & Eligibility Checks Confirm candidate availability for the engagement Verify relevant work‑authorisation information Confirm exclusivity requirements where applicable Surface issues that could affect candidate eligibility or participation Escalate ambiguous cases when additional review is needed Scheduling & Interview Operations Coordinate interviews during weekday business hours Maintain reliable availability for scheduled candidate conversations Keep interviews and associated documentation on schedule Support an efficient interview pipeline across multiple shortlisted candidates Communicate clearly with candidates and programme stakeholders Ideal Profile Professional experience in technical recruiting, talent acquisition, interviewing, or technical candidate assessment Comfortable evaluating senior software engineers and other highly technical professionals Experience conducting structured or competency‑based interviews Strong judgement and ability to make evidence‑based candidate recommendations Excellent verbal and written communication skills Able to conduct professional and engaging candidate conversations while maintaining interview structure Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple interviews efficiently Comfortable working with evaluation rubrics and standardised hiring criteria Able to communicate technical candidate strengths and concerns clearly to programme stakeholders Reliable availability during weekday business hours Engagement Details Part‑time independent contractor engagement Fully remote within the United States Approximately 10 hours per week Compensation: $40–$50/hour Interviews are typically approximately 20 minutes each Work focuses on interviewing and assessing senior technical candidates across specialised engineering domains Weekday business‑hours availability is required Projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded based on project needs and performance Work must be completed without using confidential or proprietary information belonging to any employer, client, institution, or other third party H1‑B and STEM OPT support is unavailable for this engagement About the Platform This opportunity is available through 24‑MAG LLC.
