Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a per diem Neonatologist to join their expanding team in Austin, Texas. This role involves providing exceptional care for neonates across the St. David's Healthcare System, collaborating with neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners. Practice Info Expanding team of neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners Practice includes St. David's Medical Center (65-bed, Level-IV unit with neonatal surgical services and approximately 4,300 deliveries/year) Practice includes St. David's Women's Center of Texas (57-bed, Level-III unit, expanding to 80 beds, with approximately 8,000 deliveries/year) Practice includes St. David's North Austin Medical Center (Level-III NICU with advanced imaging and pediatric medical sub-specialties) Practice includes St. David's Round Rock Medical Center (12-bed, Level-II unit with in-house NNP coverage) Practice includes St. David's South Austin Medical Center (10-bed, Level-II NICU with in-house NNP coverage) Responsibilities ~ Provide exceptional care for neonates Compensation Pediatrix does cover your travel expenses (round trip flight/rental car or mileage and lodging) for those who reside outside a commutable distance from the practice Malpractice insurance covered for this W-2 per diem position Benefits ~ Employee Assistance Requirements Board Certification in Neonatology required A minimum of 1-year post-fellowship clinical experience required Recent Neonatologist experience required (within the past 12 months) Active TX license or IMLC license preferred
