First in Massachusetts to use Black Box technology, 16 ORs, 1,000 cases a month. Responsibilities Function as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures. Participate in ongoing educational and competency activities. Precept staff to the surgical technician job duties, including surgical technicians, nurses and students. Surgical Technician Certification required. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required. 1 year of Surgical Technician experience preferred. Must present and submit Certification of Graduation: ARC/STSA-Accredited Surgical Technology Program, NBSTSA-Certification conferred by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting. Must adhere to all I.C.A.R.E. Standards. Basic computer skills.
