LIGHT DUTY CONSTRUCTION TECHNICIAN Petro-Com Corporation is currently recruiting experienced Light Duty Construction Technicians to join our Construction team in the Medina and Northeast Ohio area!Job Description:Petro-Com Corporation is looking for Light Duty Construction Technicians to provide excellent customer service in the installation, service, repair, and maintenance of all petroleum equipment. Our ideal candidate will be someone looking for a long-term opportunity, and the chance to grow within the organization. Starting wage for candidates with petroleum construction experience will be based on experience, certifications, and/or accreditations.   QualificationsPossess a valid Driver's License, and must remain insurable under the company's liability insurance policyHigh School Diploma or equivalentMechanically inclined with a willingness to learn construction techniquesExcellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills Must be able to pass DOT physical and background checkAbility to work overtime when necessaryBUSTR certified a plusSchedule:8-hour shiftDay shift 8:00 am -4:00 pmMonday to FridayOvertime offered at timesMedical, Dental, Vision, Prescription, 401(k), Life Insurance, Vacation, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays, Company Cell Phone, Company VehicleStarting wage for candidates with petroleum experience will be based on experience, certifications, and/or accreditations.Responsibilities:Responsible for construction tasks and projects including fuel equipment removal/installation, spill buckets, sump repairs, fuel motor removal/installation, concrete work/installation, excavation, canopy, lighting, etc.Operate machinery and vehicles including trucks, trailers, lift trucks, bob cats, skid steers, backhoes, light and heavy equipment such as: hand tools, hand power tools, pumps, vacuums, and generators etc.; provide maintenance as required for equipmentWork alongside a team to complete general maintenance and repair support tasks for all petroleum project sitesAssist to maintain and repair various types of petroleum equipment including dispensers, tank monitors, fuel management systems, etc.Install electronic and mechanical equipment for service stations, commercial fueling facilities and related workEngage in strenuous physical labor including lifting, pulling, and pushing heavy objectsCompletion of work-related paperwork; time sheets, daily sheets, vehicle inspection, equipment inspections; Promptly report time, travel, and parts used to the office for billing purposesComply with OSHA safety standards and perform tasks safety, OSHA or Hazwoper certified a plusRemain actively engaged in supporting the Service Team during gaps in specific constructionBenefits:Sign -on bonuses available for experienced / BUSTR certified candidates.Competitive Wages, Medical, Dental, Vision, Prescription, 401(k) Vacation, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays, Company Cell Phone, Company Vehicle.
