Job Description
Well established Foot & Ankle Specialists office located in Berkley, MI currently has an opening for an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team. Candidate must have at least 1 year of medical front desk experience. Hours are Monday-Friday. NO Weekends!
Requirements:
- Must be able to multi-task
- Knowledge of medical insurance & requirements
- Possess Insurance Verification skills
- Check patients in & out
- Collection of Co pays
- Scheduling appointments
- Answer multi-line phone system
- Complete FMLA paperwork
- Obtain diagnostic imaging authorizations
- Process medical record requests
Candidate must have great computer skills, great communication skills and must be friendly to patients and staff. Medical office & EMR experience is a must!
