*Job Summary*

We are seeking a skilled and motivated *Periodontal Surgical Assistant* to join our periodontal specialty practice. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable assisting in surgical procedures, and committed to excellent patient care.

*Monday-Friday*
*8am to 5pm*

*Responsibilities:*

* Assist the periodontist during periodontal surgical and non-surgical procedures
* Demonstrate familiarity with periodontal instruments and surgical setups
* Accurately chart procedures and complete patient documentation
* Utilize Open Dental software for charting and clinical notes (preferred)
* Prepare treatment rooms and patients for procedures
* Perform instrument sterilization and operatory turnover according to OSHA/CDC standards
* Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment

*Qualifications:*

* Previous dental assisting experience required; periodontal or surgical experience preferred
* Knowledge of periodontal instruments and procedures
* Open Dental experience preferred
* Strong understanding of sterilization and infection control protocols
* Excellent communication and organizational skills

*Certifications (as required by state):*

* Dental Assisting certification
* CPR/BLS

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $34.00 per hour
