Deployed Support Specialist Mid Location: Quantico, VA Job Summary A role that provides network technical advice and assistance during planning phases of deployments or exercises and coordinates swift solutions to networking problems during execution. Key Responsibilities Provide direct computer and network support, including router, firewall, IDS/IPS, DNS, AD, and Exchange configuration, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting to USMC deployed units. Assist in the development and execution of Information Assurance (IA) training for deployed units. Provide direct support to the D-30 process. Support operational requirements by identifying required hardware and software, submitting personnel foreign country clearance requests and obtaining necessary visas, documenting deployment results in a government-provided template, conducting post‑deployment reviews, coordinating return of unused equipment, and ensuring import permits for transported hardware and software. Leverage experience providing deployed support. Basic Qualifications High School Diploma with at least 4 years of direct experience. US Citizen with an active DoD Secret security clearance. Holder of an Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II certification. Preferred Qualifications CCNA Certification.
