PrideStaff - Greenville is seeking an experienced, meticulous, and tech-savvy Receiving Clerk for a premier manufacturing customer in the Duncan, SC area .
In this key inventory control role, you will be responsible for monitoring, verifying, and controlling all incoming merchandise arriving at the warehouse. Precision record-keeping is critical: you will audit incoming products against supplier invoices, Bills of Lading (BOLs), and purchase orders, while ensuring thousands of part numbers are stocked flawlessly to keep production moving.

Receiving Clerk Primary Responsibilities include:
Your main responsibility is the accurate receiving, physical verification, and digital inventory control of all incoming merchandise, maintaining 100% stock traceability.

• Inbound Document Verification: Inspect and verify all arriving merchandise against shipping documents, including purchase orders, supplier shippers, invoices, and BOLs.
• Inventory Counting & Discrepancy Control: Perform precise physical counts of all incoming items; flag and escalate any inventory discrepancies to plant management on the same day.
• Flawless Stocking & Put-Away: Accurately place received inventory onto designated shelves and bin locations, maintaining zero-error stocking standards across 4,000+ active part numbers.
• ERP Data & Record Keeping: Utilize inventory control ERP systems to log receipts, track material flow, and maintain meticulous digital receiving records.
• Material Handling & Staging: Safely operate a forklift truck to off-load trucks, stage inventory, and supply parts to active production lines.
• Workplace Efficiency: Complete daily receiving and stocking tasks at a steady, efficient pace to support the facility's daily production deadlines.

Receiving Clerk Requirements include:

• Required Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of dedicated receiving experience in a production or manufacturing facility is strictly required. (Candidates without 2+ years of receiving experience will not be considered).
• ERP & Computer Skills: Proven data expertise working with Inventory Control ERP systems , alongside proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and basic math.
• Forklift Operation: Prior forklift experience required (Active certification is a plus; client will certify on-site if needed) .
• Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand and move continuously, repeatedly lift up to 60 lbs. , and safely climb ladders to access shelf stock.
• Core Competencies: Exceptional attention to detail, reading comprehension, critical thinking, multitasking, and strong verbal/written communication skills.
• Workplace Adaptability: Ability to thrive working independently or in a team-oriented warehouse environment.
• Background & Screening: Must be willing to submit to a standard drug screening and background check.
