Collaborate with senior leaders to shape strategic growth initiatives.Job DescriptionDirector of Credit Operations OverviewThe Director of Credit Operations will lead and manage global operations across alternative/private credit strategies and CLO platforms.Oversee internal operations teams, fostering a collaborative culture focused on accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.Collaborate with senior management to drive operational scalability, infrastructure buildout, and platform growth initiatives.Evaluate and implement best practices, process enhancements, and technology solutions to improve efficiency and controls.Ensure operational readiness for new products, mandates, fund launches, and strategic initiatives.Maintain a strong operational control environment across investment vehicles and processes.Develop and monitor policies, procedures, and governance frameworks to mitigate operational risks effectively.Partner with technology teams to enhance systems architecture, automation, and data governance.Participate in investor and counterparty operational due diligence meetings as required.Director of Credit Operations Key Responsibilities & DutiesLead global operations across alternative/private credit strategies and CLO platforms.Oversee outsourced operations professionals, managing workflows, performance, and service-level governance.Support operational readiness for new products, mandates, and fund launches.Develop and monitor operational policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.Ensure accurate operational support for complex debt instruments and bespoke financing structures.Partner with portfolio management, treasury, finance, investor relations, and legal/compliance teams.Oversee vendor management processes and service provider oversight frameworks.Collaborate with technology teams on systems architecture, automation initiatives, and operational integrations.Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies and escalation protocols.Director of Credit Operations Job RequirementsBachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred.15+ years of experience in investment operations, credit operations, or related functions.Significant management experience overseeing large operational teams and outsourced service providers.Deep knowledge of alternative/private credit operational workflows and CLO operational structures.Experience with trustees, administrators, custodians, agent banks, and third-party service providers.Proficiency with investment operations systems, data platforms, and reporting tools.Strong understanding of operational controls, risk management frameworks, and regulatory considerations.Excellent leadership, organizational, communication, and project management skills.Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
