Restaurant Assistant Manager – Up to $50K + Bonus

We’re looking for an energetic, hands-on Assistant Manager to join a busy, fast-paced restaurant in Tinton Falls. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves working with people, enjoys being part of the action, and wants to build a long-term career in restaurant leadership.
Current Assistant Managers are encouraged to apply, but we’re also interested in strong Shift Leaders and Supervisors who are ready to step up into management.
You’ll work alongside the General Manager, help lead the team, and play an important role in creating a restaurant where both employees and guests want to be.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the restaurant team during assigned shifts
- Deliver a great guest experience and resolve concerns when they arise
- Coach, train, and motivate team members
- Help create an upbeat, positive, and accountable team environment
- Support hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and employee development
- Maintain standards for food quality, speed, cleanliness, and service
- Manage opening, closing, cash-handling, and shift procedures
- Monitor labor, food cost, inventory, waste, and productivity
- Work hands-on alongside the team during busy periods
- Partner with the General Manager to improve sales and restaurant performance
What We’re Looking For
- Restaurant leadership or supervisory experience
- Assistant Managers, Shift Managers, Shift Leaders, and Supervisors are encouraged to apply
- Quick-service, fast-casual, or other high-volume restaurant experience is a plus
- A positive, hands-on leadership style
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Ability to motivate a team and keep operations moving during busy shifts
- Dependable, organized, and comfortable making decisions
- Desire to learn, grow, and advance into greater responsibility
- Flexible availability, including some nights, weekends, and holidays
