What you will do… Read electrical and control schematics and assemble and wire panels to specification for PLC controls, operator consoles, variable speed drives, motor controls, and/or pneumatic controls Inspect and test completed panels Maintain equipment and tools in a neat, clean, and efficient work area Work with shop manager to schedule and prioritize tasks Occasionally support installations at local customer facilities What you will need to succeed… Availability during core hours of shop operation, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm (some flexibility available) Previous panel building experience preferred (willing to train a motivated candidate) Formal electrical training or demonstrated on-the-job experience in the electrical field Familiarity with NEC, UL, and/or CSA codes preferred Demonstrated mechanical ability Knowledge of proper and safe use of hand tools and small power tools Attention to detail Teamwork and dependability Ability to coordinate multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Must be safety conscious Physical Demands The requirements below represent the general physical expectations of this role.
