Bilingual Medical Assistant

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team The ideal candidate will have experience in various medical settings including inpatient clinics and hospital medicine This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology patient care and administrative support As a Medical Assistant you will play a crucial role in ensuring that patients receive high quality care while assisting healthcare providers with clinical and administrative tasks Responsibilities Perform patient intake including taking vital signs and documenting medical histories Assist with medication administration and ensure proper handling of medications Support healthcare providers during examinations and procedures Maintain accurate patient records using EHR systems Conduct basic life support as needed and respond to emergencies Provide excellent patient service by addressing questions and concerns Assist in coding diagnoses using ICD coding for billing purposes Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in various settings such as inpatient care Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment Requirements Previous experience in a medical setting clinic experience preferred Knowledge of medical terminology Familiarity with internal medicine is a plus Basic life support certification is required; advanced certifications are advantageous Experience with EHR systems for efficient patient management Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in both clinical and administrative tasks Ability to work effectively in high pressure environments Understanding of patient care protocols in inpatient settings Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals Location North Richland Hills Fulltime Monday Friday 800 500 Benefits Offered #J-18808-Ljbffr Texas Health Care PLCC
