Step into a fulfilling and impactful SLP contract opportunity in the Grand Blanc area, supporting students across four closely located school sites. In this role, you’ll provide invaluable speech and language services to a diverse group of approximately 10 students per site, focusing on general education students with speech needs as well as those with mild cognitive or autism spectrum challenges. The schedule is thoughtfully structured so you spend each day at a single location, eliminating the need for frequent travel between schools.

Key Qualifications:

• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Experience in school-based settings and comfort working with K-12 students
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation
• Compassionate communicator and skilled collaborator with families and multidisciplinary teams
• Competence in delivering services to students with a variety of abilities, including those on the spectrum or with mild cognitive needs

Responsibilities Include:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide individualized therapy according to student IEPs
• Develop and implement targeted speech/language goals
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student progress
• Monitor, record, and report outcomes and maintain accurate documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
