Field Diesel Mechanic

Field Diesel Mechanic (Service TechIV – Field Service) As a Field Diesel Mechanic you will perform maintenance and repairs of complex equipment with limited or no supervision in a highly skilled, safe, and professional manner. Responsibilities Maintain and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on a variety of rental and customer equipment and tools while exercising a high degree of independent judgment. Travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance of rental or customer‑owned equipment and keep the service vehicle clean and professional. Assist in training lower‑level technicians as needed. Maintain paperwork and electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) in a complete and timely manner on a daily basis. Assist with pick‑up and delivery of equipment & parts. Perform other duties assigned as needed. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. 5+ years of experience repairing/maintaining equipment and tools. Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools. Extensive knowledge of construction equipment with an advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams. Ownership of tools applicable to the position. Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills. Ability to frequently lift items up to 45lbs.
