This role is pivotal in the integration of engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers, and the Head of Supply Chain will be at the forefront of making strategic decisions regarding vendors, costs, and build strategies. The ideal candidate will have a background in robotics or manufacturing, with a focus on SIOP, and must be adept at scaling hardware from prototype to production, sourcing across various manufacturing processes, and managing contract manufacturers. Applicants for the Head of Supply Chain position at the company should have a minimum of 8-15 years' experience in supply chain, sourcing, or manufacturing, with a proven track record of taking ownership of cost, timelines, and outcomes. The role requires a candidate who is comfortable making decisions with incomplete information, can operate with agility, and is capable of moving quickly without being hindered by heavy processes.
