Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Valid School Psychologist certification and appropriate state credentials
• Experience working with students in grades 3-12
• Proficient in conducting comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and reevaluations
• Strong knowledge of assessment tools for psychological, behavioral, cognitive, and academic functioning
• Familiarity with IEP processes and special education law (IDEA, FERPA, state guidelines)
• Comfortable collaborating with a diverse team of education professionals
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform psychoeducational assessments and reevaluations for students receiving special education services, from initial screening to report writing
• Review and interpret educational records, external assessments, and medical/developmental histories
• Administer, score, and analyze standardized and non-standardized evaluations in cognitive, adaptive behavior, social-emotional, and academic domains
• Conduct thoughtful classroom observations and collect multi-source data from educators, families, and related service providers
• Engage actively in eligibility determinations, IEP meetings, and collaborative problem-solving with multidisciplinary teams
• Ensure timely, accurate completion of psychological reports and all required documentation, keeping in line with legal and school deadlines
• Uphold compliance with federal, state, and district mandates for special education
