Assistant/Supervisor HousekeeperThe Assistant/Supervisor Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning guest rooms and common areas of the hotel to have ready for guests according to the policies and procedures of Marriott Standard.Benefits$20 per hourMedical, dental and vision insurance after 60 days of full time employment.Paid vacation after 90 days of full time employment.ResponsibilitiesSupervise housekeeping and laundry staffAssign daily boards to housekeeping team membersMaintain room quality based on hotel objectivesMonitor and maintain a level of cleanliness in rooms, storage areas, laundry, restrooms, and public areasCompile and report accurate status of guest rooms to front officeOversee all housekeeping dutiesMaintain productivity and labor cost goalsEstablish and maintain cost control systems for staffing linen inventories and cleaning suppliesConduct inventories of linen, supplies, and equipmentEnsure quality services are rendered in meeting guest needs and that guest relations are enhancedEnsure satisfactory scores with brand by preparing for audits, evaluating results, and collaborating with management and team with necessary improvementsOther duties as assignedQualificationsHigh School diploma or GED requiredMinimum of 4 years’ experience in all aspects of Housekeeping in a large, multi-use facility requiredMinimum of 2 years supervisory experienceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsMust be flexible with working nights, weekends, and holidaysWe are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
