What You Will Do Perform specialized radiography and fluoroscopic coverage of interventional and angiographic procedures under the direction of a physician. Explain the procedure to the patient and prepare them for the procedure. Obtain medications, radiopharmaceuticals, or contrast materials as directed for administration. Circulate during the procedure and maintain patient comfort. Provide supplies necessary for diagnostic and therapeutic invasive procedures. Remove catheters/sheaths and apply direct pressure or clamp as appropriate. Provide necessary report information to the holding area or nursing unit as needed. Record and process hemodynamic reports, contrast media records, and charges promptly and accurately. Communicate equipment malfunctions to leadership or department engineer for repairs. What You Need Associate’s degree from an approved school of Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular Interventional Technology program; or an ARRT or RCIS graduate from a Cardiovascular Interventional Training program; or two years’ work experience in Interventional Radiology or a similar modality. Registered as a Radiologic Technologist through ARRT (R) or RCIS certification required. BLS Provider (CPR) certification required. ACLS preferred. Advanced certification required within one year of hire date (ARRT CV, CI, or VI). Physical Requirements and Working Conditions Requires standing and walking while wearing 10 to 15‑pound lead radiation protection aprons. Exposure to radiation, secretions, and blood. Confined working area. Normal vision, manual dexterity, and good eye‑and‑hand coordination necessary to operate equipment. Constant concentration required during procedures. Compensation Pay Range: $40.30 – $60.45 per hour. Sign‑On Bonus: Up to $15,000.
