Senior Property AccountantOur client, a Residential Real Estate Investment/Development firm is looking for a Senior Property Accountant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to learn and grow within a strong, well established firm with solid policies and procedures in place. This position is on a hybrid schedule (3x week), to downtown San Francisco offices, close to public transportation. Excellent culture and mentorship opportunities within a collaborative team environment.About the role and your impact:The Senior Accountant will be responsible for a portfolio of properties.Responsible for the full-cycle accounting, taxes, and financial statements for their respective properties.Ensure transactions are in accordance with GAAPMonth-End/Year-End ClosePrepare journal entries, conduct reconciliations, and lead financial analysis to drive strategic decision-making.Work with all levels within the organization such as Asset Management, Acquisitions, and DevelopmentWhat you'll bring:Bachelors Degree with a preferred major in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field4+ years of experience in Full-Cycle AccountingStrong Analytical MindsetStrong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, general ledger management, reconciliations, budgeting, and forecasting.Experience with or an interest in joining the Real Estate industryAbility to multi-task, prioritize and work efficientlyAbility to perform at high levels in a fast paced, ever-changing work environmentBenefits:Housing DiscountTuition Reimbursement programComprehensive Health InsuranceHighly collaborative team, team size allowing for you to have voice at the table.Strong mentors throughout that will support continued personal growth.Strong Work/Life Flexibility and BalanceEasy Location in Downtown SF Close to transit401K with company matchCompensation:$110K-$120K baseThis compensation range is a good faith estimate of the expected wage range you can expect to be paid upon hire.Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
