This role will be hybrid based out of our Waltham, MA office. We are unable to provide sponsorship for work authorization for this role.

We are a global leader at the forefront of innovation in the Food Service industry and are actively seeking an exceptional Corporate Counsel to join our dynamic legal team. This role presents a rare opportunity for a legal professional to make an immediate impact elevating our organization's legal strategy on an international scale while negotiating, drafting, and counseling on strategy for the Company's Digital Procurement Network (DPN), Software as a Service (SaaS), Supply Chain Consulting, and ancillary Food Service verticals.

This is a hybrid role that sits at the intersection of HR operations and HRIS administration - and it reflects where our People team is headed. We are mid-implementation on Darwinbox, our new HRIS platform, with a Phase I go-live in September 2026 and Phase II in December. As we move through implementation and into optimization, we need someone who can both manage day-to-day HR generalist work and take meaningful ownership of the platform.

This role will start with a balanced split between generalist responsibilities and HRIS support, and naturally evolve toward HRIS administration as Darwinbox goes live and transactional work shifts to employee self-service. It is an opportunity to grow with a platform, shape how it operates, and have real impact on a People team supporting a complex, multi-division business.

What You'll Do

HR Generalist Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2/3 HR support to employees and managers across multiple business units, serving as a reliable and knowledgeable point of contact for HR matters
• Process employee lifecycle changes including new hires, transfers, promotions, compensation adjustments, and terminations with accuracy and timeliness
• Partner closely with HRBPs on employee relations matters, performance management, and talent review processes; ensure cases are triaged accurately, documented consistently, and resolved efficiently
• Support HRBPs with data pulls, reporting, and HRIS workflows that inform their work with business unit leaders
• Support payroll processing in partnership with the Finance team and ADP Workforce Now
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws; support audits, I-9 administration, and employment verifications

HRIS Administration & Implementation Support

• Support the Darwinbox implementation through Phase I and Phase II go-lives, and own ongoing system administration post-launch including configuration, workflows, business processes, and organizational structures
• Maintain data integrity across HR platforms through regular audits, quality reviews, and governance practices that meet privacy and security requirements
• Manage system integrations including ADP Workforce Now, ensuring accurate and timely data exchange; troubleshoot issues in partnership with Payroll, IT, and TA
• Build and maintain HR dashboards and reports; produce recurring and ad hoc analytics related to headcount, turnover, hiring, retention, and demographics
• Serve as the internal Darwinbox subject matter expert; document processes, maintain SOPs, and deliver end-user training
• Identify and implement opportunities for automation and process improvement to enhance the employee and manager experience

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3-7 years of progressive HR experience in a Generalist, HR Operations, People Operations, or HRIS-focused role with meaningful exposure to both
• Hands-on experience administering an HRIS platform including configuration, workflows, and reporting
• Experience supporting employee relations, performance management, and general HR programs
• Strong understanding of HR processes, employment law, and compliance requirements across multiple states
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and reporting tools; experience building and analyzing workforce metrics and dashboards
• Must be able to work 4 days a week from our office in Waltham, MA.
• Experience working in fast-paced and dynamic organizations
• Strong problem solving ability

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Darwinbox, ADP Workforce Now, Workday, UKG, BambooHR, or similar platforms; ADP Workforce Now experience strongly preferred
• Experience supporting an HRIS implementation, system migration, or integration project; Darwinbox experience a plus but not required
• Experience supporting multi-state or global employee populations
• Experience with HR data governance and reporting best practices
• Experience supporting M&A integrations or high-growth, multi-division organizations
• Proficiency with ticketing or case management tools such as JIRA Service Desk
• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or similar HR certification

Success in This Role


In your first year, you will:

• Land as a trusted resource for employees, managers, and HRBPs across multiple business units
• Play an active role in bringing Darwinbox Phase I and Phase II across the finish line, contributing to a successful go-live and a smooth transition for the team
• Take ownership of Darwinbox post-launch - keeping data clean, workflows running, and the system evolving as business needs change
• Establish yourself as the internal HRIS subject matter expert, supporting adoption and building confidence in the platform across the organization
• Build meaningful workforce reporting and dashboards that give leadership reliable, actionable insights
• Identify and deliver process improvements that reduce manual work and improve the experience for employees and managers
