Provider Contract Manager

Lenawee Community Mental Health Authority (LCMHA), in Adrian, Michigan has an opportunity for a full-time, onsite, Provider Contract Manager. The starting annual salary is $60,567. The annualized salary range for this position is $60,567 to $78,312 per year (based on a 37-1/2 hour work week); the range is based on the number of years of service with the agency. Our agency provides or manages a full array of services to adults and children with mental health issues, emotional disturbances, substance use disorders, and developmental disabilities. Our mission is to create a path to resilience, recovery, wellness, and self-determination. What would this job entail? The Provider Contract Manager is responsible for preparing, executing, and revising all provider contracts. This individual is expected to take ownership over the contracts (which includes processing contracts, monitoring providers to ensure compliance, and maintaining accurate contract), and is involved in the procurement process. Specifically, this individual will: Prepare contract documents in accordance with contract awards and any negotiated changes or addenda for approved service deliverers. Evaluate contract performance and prepare detailed reports on same as required or requested. Issue contracts within the time period established; maintain tracking system of the receipt of contracts and required documentation to ensure compliance with established local policy. Perform initial credentialing and/or re-credentialing of network providers, per regional policy. Assist with the development and response of Request for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Quotes (RFQ). Carry out additional duties as assigned by supervisor. The qualifications for this position are: Bachelor's degree in Business, Contract Management, Pre-Law, Health Information Systems, or similar degree is required. Experience with negotiation, preparing, executing, and revising contracts is highly desirable. Computer literacy with knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) is required. Knowledge of CPT (Current Procedural Terminology) and HCPCS (Healthcare Procedure Coding System) codes, medical terminology, and medical record keeping is desirable. Paid Holidays -- LCMHA observes 15 paid holidays per year; employees are eligible for paid holidays as of the first day of employment. Employees are eligible to enroll in comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance as of the first day of employment. Medical insurance: The employee premium contribution for the plan choices is dependent on the plan and coverage-level choice. Vision insurance: the agency covers 100% of the cost for all coverage levels; Dental insurance: the agency covers 100% of the cost for all coverage levels. Employees who decline to enroll in the agency's medical insurance program because they have medical insurance coverage from a different source receive a medical insurance opt-out payment (this benefit starts as of the first day of employment). Retirement Benefits: this benefit starts as of the first day of employment.
