Your adventure awaits! Florida Marine Tanks, a division of Patrick Industries located in North Carolina, is hiring an experienced Staff Accountant to join our team. The Staff Accountant will perform accounting activities using hands‑on experience and a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles and company practices. Florida Marine Tanks manufactures various fuel, water, oil, and holding tanks supporting the marine industry. FMT is fully equipped for sheet metal fabrication from high‑quality aluminum and stainless steel and is committed to building the safest, highest quality, and most competitively priced products. Responsibilities and Duties Maintain vendor records and resolve invoice discrepancies Generate sales orders and work orders Invoice sales orders to customers Account and inventory reconciliations, including inventory in transit Match and file purchase orders, receiving documents, and vendor invoices (3‑way matching) Monitor customer accounts and aging reports; apply customer payments and reconcile customer accounts Research and resolve customer billing discrepancies Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and internal controls Qualifications and Skills Minimum of 2 years of accounting or finance experience or an equivalent degree Cost accounting experience Manufacturing accounting experience Proficiency in Excel Organized and detail‑oriented Experience with an ERP system High level of personal integrity (self‑esteem, confidence, honesty, and respect) Strong accountability and follow‑through skills Flexibility and foresight to balance engagement and business needs Dynamic personality with the ability to work and communicate effectively with all team members Excellent written and verbal communication skills, clear, concise, and professional Self‑motivated with the ability to prioritize multiple projects under tight deadlines and work independently with little to no oversight Alignment with Patrick Industries’ “BETTER Together” mentality by pursuing balance, excellence, trust, teamwork, empowerment, and respect within the organization At Patrick Industries, BETTER Together is our commitment to being our best while striving to bring out the best in one another as we join forces individually, as teams, with our business units, customers, communities, and within our entire Patrick family. #J-18808-Ljbffr Patrick Industries
