As an Access Control professional at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour Requirements: 1+ Years' Law Enforcement Experience OR 2+ Years' Security Supervisor/Manager Experience OR 3+ Years' Security Experience Valid Driver's License Job Schedule: Wed: 10:00 PM - 04:00 AM Thur: 04:30 PM - 04:30 AM Fri: 04:00 PM - 04:00 AM Sat: 04:00 PM - 04:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location. Monitor and control access points by verifying credentials, processing visitors and contractors, maintaining entry records, and communicating access concerns to appropriate site contacts. Operate access‑control systems, cameras, communication equipment, and visitor‑management tools in accordance with established procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access areas, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located. Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security‑related supervisor or manager experience, or 3 years of security‑related experience. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. At this site there are limited on‑site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
