Personal Injury Paralegal

Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for helping clients navigate the legal process? We are seeking a Personal Injury Paralegal to join our clients team and support an attorney with all aspects of personal injury cases. This role is perfect for someone with strong organizational skills and a fair amount of trial experience. Salary range: $50,000 - $78,000 plus benefits. Location : Chicago, IL Key Responsibilities: Draft and file legal documents, including complaints, motions, and discovery responses. Conduct case intake and gather essential client and case details. Manage client communication to provide updates and obtain necessary information. Organize and review medical records, police reports, and insurance documentation. Coordinate depositions, medical examinations, and court appearances. Maintain case files and ensure all relevant information is up-to-date. Prepare settlement demands and assist in negotiating settlements with insurance adjusters. Support attorneys in trial preparation, including preparing exhibits, subpoenas, and witness lists. Track deadlines for filings, hearings, and discovery responses. Qualifications: Paralegal certificate or relevant experience in personal injury law. Strong understanding of the litigation process and legal terminology. Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills. Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
