Personal Injury Paralegal

Salary: $60,000 to $75,000

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a prestigious Chicago law firm to identify a Personal Injury Paralegal for its growing practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented legal professional seeking a stable, long-term role supporting a busy plaintiff-side litigation team.

Responsibilities

• Manage personal injury files from intake through settlement or trial
• Draft pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, and legal correspondence
• Obtain, review, and organize medical records and other case documents
• Communicate with clients, medical providers, insurance carriers, and opposing counsel
• Coordinate depositions, mediations, expert witnesses, and court filings
• Maintain case calendars and monitor litigation deadlines
• Prepare settlement packages and assist with lien resolution
• Support attorneys with trial preparation and exhibit management

Qualifications

• 3+ years of personal injury paralegal experience
• Plaintiff-side experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of Illinois civil litigation procedures
• Experience handling medical records, discovery, and case management
• Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software

Additional Information:

Personal Time Off (PTO) is offered on an accrual basis up to 184 hours a year, 13 Paid Holidays, and up to 6 weeks of Paid Parental Leave. PTO and holiday hours are prorated based on hire date within the calendar year.
