Guest Services Cart Attendant
The cart attendant ensures that all golf carts and related equipment meet facility standards, meet and greet guests at the cart staging or bag drop-off area, and provide excellent customer service.
Day to Day Responsibilities
- Greet and enthusiastically provide each customer with the court conditions, directions, and any other pertinent information
- Open and/or close the cart barn
- Prepare and maintain the golf carts for use, including making sure they are clean, fully charged, operational, and prepped for play with tees, scorecards, and pencils
- Assist in keeping the golf shop cooler filled with product
- Maintain cart staging and cart cleaning areas
- Ensure sand buckets and ice buckets on carts are full
- Clean and restock rental sets after use
- Marshall the golf course during busy times as needed

What We're Looking For
Must Haves:
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of the game of golf
- A valid driver's license
- A professional appearance as outlined in the Audubon Handbook
- Ability to work independently and function as a member of the team
- A high school diploma
Nice-to-Haves:
- Previous experience working at a golf facility
- Previous experience working in a setting that requires strong customer service
- Previous experience working in a retail setting
- Ability to play the game
Physical Requirements:
- Frequently stand, walk or sit for long periods of time
- Frequently climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and reach
- Close visual acuity in order to operate equipment
- Work outdoors under conditions ranging from extreme hot to extreme cold
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and frequently up to 20 lbs using proper lifting techniques
