Registered Nurse – MS/Tele

Schedule: 3x12-Hour Night shifts (18:45 - 07:15). Travelers are required to work every other weekend. Time will be added to the end of the contract to account for any calls offs or RTO that includes weekends.

Assignment Details: Contracts available for 13-26 weeks. The unit will accept 36 or 48 hours per week. Floating to other Med/Surg/Telemetry areas may be required.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience, including 1 year of direct MedSurg experience.
• Travelers must have completed at least 2 successful contracts; first-time travelers will not be accepted.
• Certifications: BCLS, NIH, NIHSS; ACLS preferred but not required.
• Skills: IV start, telemetry, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, and Med/Surg neuro experience.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care primarily for stroke patients and other neuro diagnoses.
• Handle potential neurosurgery patients and related medical conditions.
• Perform assessments and develop care plans based on the needs of patients.
• Administer medications and monitor patient vital signs.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Compliance / Notes: Travelers must pass EKG testing prior to start. If a traveler calls out of a shift, they are expected to make up that day within the same week or at the end of their contract. Block scheduling cannot be guaranteed.
