We hire managers we trust, give them direct access to leadership, and do our best to get out of their way.Job Description: Plunkett Distributing is looking for an experienced operations leader to take full ownership of our Oklahoma City branch, including team leadership, the P&L, customer relationships, and the growth plan. As Branch Manager, you'll have real authority and real accountability: you'll lead every function in the building, own the branch's financial results, and be the face of the company in the OKC market. You'll report to our Chief Operations Officer, with regular interaction with our CEO and CFO. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Oklahoma City, with a base salary of $100,000-$110,000 plus a performance bonus tied to branch results. Since OKC is our newest branch, the growth potential is strong, both in revenue for the company and career growth for the right leader.Responsibilities: The candidate will:Lead and develop the full branch team (operations, customer service, and sales), putting people in the roles where they'll do their best workOwn the branch P&L: guide sales strategy, control overhead, and grow net profitBuild and continuously improve branch processes that raise both profitability and employee satisfactionRepresent the company in the OKC market, building relationships with customers and the community that grow our reputation and salesStay on top of market conditions and the competition, and share what you learn with senior leadership and other branchesRequirements: The candidate must:Have 5+ years of leadership experience managing a team, branch, store, or facility, ideally in wholesale building supplies or a closely related fieldHave a track record of hitting sales and profitability targets, with hands-on P&L or budget responsibilityHave a builder's mindset: you spot broken processes and fix them without being askedHave strong people skills, developing your team, holding standards, and keeping morale high while doing itBe comfortable operating independently and being accountable for resultsGrowth Path: Because OKC is Plunkett's newest branch, this role comes with real upside.
