You will plan and execute meetups, workshops, and community programs that build meaningful connections, deepen engagement, and bring our brand to life.The Ideal candidate is creative and scrappy. You will build relationships with developers and community partners, collaborate across teams, and own event logistics, tracking, and reporting to measure impact and improve future experiences.This position will be based out of the SF office in a hybrid basis (3 days/week) and includes in-office anchor days on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday.What You Will Do:Plan and execute a wide range of events, meetups, hackathons, developer events, and programs both in the HQ office and at outside venuesTake new community programs from zero to one, turning ideas into repeatable experiences that connect developers and grow engagementCollaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless event executionManage event timelines, budgets, and logistics, ensuring all deadlines are metCoordinate with support staff, including catering, AV, and facilities tech, to ensure all event requirements are fulfilledMaintain accurate event records, including attendee lists, budgets, and post-event reportsProactively identify and resolve potential issues or challenges related to eventsContinuously seek opportunities to improve event processes and enhance attendee experiencesProvide on-site support during events to ensure smooth operations and attendee satisfactionManage event-related communication, including invitations, reminders, and follow-upsAbout You:3+ Years of experience in developer advocacy, devrel, community, or a similar role, running developer facing events, hackathons, etc.Have creative problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feetAre meticulous and have a strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality eventsHave strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneouslyPossess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholdersAre able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentHave flexibility to work outside of regular business hours, as required by event scheduleCompensation & Benefits:Competitive compensation package, including equity.Inclusive Healthcare Package.Learn and Grow - we provide mentorship and send you to events that help you build your network and skills.Flexible Time Off.We will provide you the gear you need to do your role, and a WFH budget for you to outfit your space as needed.The San Francisco, CA base pay range for this role is $118,000 - $163,000. Actual salary will be based on job-related skills, experience, and location. Compensation outside of San Francisco may be adjusted based on employee location. The total compensation package may include benefits, equity-based compensation, and eligibility for a company bonus or variable pay program depending on the role.
