Summary: Performs multiple tasks within the accounting department by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Validates and enters all invoices for payment.
• Maintains Accounts Payable Files
• Completes and/or reviews new vendor setup paperwork for completeness and submits to Corporate AP
• Collaborate with Corporate AP to maintain vendors, including address changes, EFT payment setup, etc.
• Assist with vendor and divisional AP inquiries
• Review vendor statements for outstanding items
• Prepare accounts payable reconciliation reports
• Prepare analysis of accounts, as required
• Assist in monthly closings
• Assist the division with expense reports and reconciliations
• Administrative tasks (filing, etc.)
• Special projects as needed

Qualifications

• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner
• Eye for detail, and accuracy is imperative
• Able to meet deadlines
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to be an effective team member and display initiative
• Proficient with MS Word and Excel; Navision experience desired

Education and/or Experience

Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or one to 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
