The CNC Milling Operator is an individual contributor responsible for the precise setup, operation, and maintenance of CNC milling machines. This role ensures high-quality production through rigorous inspections and equipment calibrations, supporting the seamless manufacturing process. Responsibilities
- Perform machine setup and configuration for milling operations
- Operate CNC milling machines according to specifications
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure precision and accuracy
- Calibrate and maintain milling equipment regularly
- Implement machine edits and adjustments to optimize performance
- Prepare setups for new and ongoing production runs
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in CNC machining
- Familiarity with CNC Milling Machines and machine setup
- Proficient in blueprint reading and precision measurement
- Knowledgeable in G-code programming and machine edits
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Attention to detail with a commitment to quality control
- Adherence to safety compliance standards
