Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Provide high-quality emergency care to patients in a fast-paced ER environment. Deliver comprehensive nursing services, ensuring patient safety and adherence to clinical protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and triage patients efficiently upon arrival, determining priority of care.
• Administer medications, treatments, and IVs according to established protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient conditions continuously, promptly identifying and reporting changes.
• Float to Psych Hold area as needed, providing specialized mental health support.
• Participate in call, holiday, and overtime rotations to ensure consistent unit coverage.

Qualifications:

• Hold at least 2 years of emergency nursing experience, with a minimum of 1 year travel ER experience.
• Possess current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and CPI certifications.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including every other weekend, holidays, and call shifts.
• Must have the capacity to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment with minimal supervision.
