Registered Nurse Cardiac Cath LabAs a Registered Nurse in our Cardiac Cath Lab, you will play a crucial role in providing specialized care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while ensuring the safety and comfort of our patients throughout their cath lab experience.Responsibilities:Assist in the preparation, setup, and operation of cardiac catheterization equipment and monitoring devices.Administer medications and IVs as required during cardiac catheterization procedures.Monitor patients' vital signs and cardiac rhythms, making immediate assessments and interventions when necessary.Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding the cardiac catheterization procedure and recovery.Collaborate with interventional cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Maintain accurate patient records and document all aspects of care in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe, clean, and sterile environment in the cath lab.Participate in quality improvement initiatives and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in cardiac care.Assist in the training and orientation of new staff members as needed.Qualifications:Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of license.BLS and ACLS certification.Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with 5 years of experience in a cardiac catheterization lab preferred.Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems.Willingness to participate in ongoing education and professional development.Benefits:Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for professional growth and advancement.Access to ongoing training and development programs.Supportive and collaborative work environment.Meaningful work that makes a difference in patients' lives.Cath Lab RN 13 week assignment 40 hrs 7a-5:30p At least 2 years of experience. Cardiac Cath Lab experience required, EP experience preferred. ACLS and BLS required. On call once a week, every 4th weekend, and every other holiday. Call is Friday evening to Monday Morning. Travel experience preferred. ASAP start
