E-commerce fulfillment associate

This role starts as part-time approximately 30 hours per week (Monday through Friday, 4 PM to 10 PM). Beginning in September, hours increase to full-time (40+ hours per week) through the holiday season. Hours may reduce again in January. We are looking for someone who understands this structure and is comfortable with it About the Job We are a growing e-commerce fulfillment business operating out of a small warehouse right next to the Florida Mall. We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Associate to join our team. This is a straightforward, fast-paced, and repetitive job. You will not be driving forklifts or managing complex inventory systems. Your primary job is to open incoming boxes, scan barcodes, repack items into shipping bags, and get them ready for the post office. That is it. We are a small company. What You Will Actually Do Every Day You will spend your shift at a workstation doing the following, in order, repeatedly: Open incoming Amazon boxes and identify the items inside. Use a barcode scanner to scan each item into our system. Place items into polymailer shipping bags and apply the correct label. Drop finished packages into USPS bins. Message our remote support team via WhatsApp if something is missing, wrong, or unclear. Break down empty cardboard boxes and clean up your workstation after the carrier picks up. Requirements These are non-negotiable: English proficiency required. You must be able to read, write, and communicate in English. Our remote support team is based in the Philippines and all daily communication happens in English via WhatsApp. If you cannot communicate in English, this job is not the right fit. Smartphone with WhatsApp. You must own a smartphone, have WhatsApp installed, and be willing to use it during your shift to communicate with the team. Reliability. You show up on time, every day. This is the most important thing. Physical ability. You can stand for most of your shift and lift boxes up to 40 lbs. Attention to detail. You can match a label to the right item without making mistakes. Flexibility. Sometimes volume is high or a carrier runs late. We need someone who rolls with it and keeps working.
