Manufacturing Technician

We are seeking dedicated Manufacturing Technicians to join our team, specifically for the BAM Tech I and Tech II roles. In this position, you will function within a cleanroom environment, executing manufacturing batch records, work instructions, and SOPs with a focus on safety and precision. You will be responsible for the preparation, execution, and documentation of all activities to meet cGMP requirements, ensuring compliance and safety at all times.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute manufacturing batch records and SOPs with a focus on safety and accuracy.
• Work within a cleanroom environment, adhering to all safety protocols and cGMP compliance.
• Weigh, transfer, and mix chemicals, documenting all activities to meet cGMP standards.
• Complete preventative maintenance and work notification tasks promptly.
• Conduct equipment testing and routine troubleshooting of process and analytical equipment.
• Draft, review, and revise necessary documents.
• Perform in-process analytical testing as required.
• Maintain raw materials inventory using systems such as Kanban.
• Keep training records up to date and participate in required activities.
• Perform safety inspections and engage in improvement projects.
• Participate in shift exchanges, 1-1 meetings, and other necessary meetings to support area needs and lean activities.

Essential Skills

• Experience in a manufacturing and/or GMP environment is required.
• Strong math skills, including rounding decimals and unit conversions.
• Ability to follow and execute detailed instructions and SOPs.
• High school degree is required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with aseptic technique is preferred.

Work Environment

The regular shift is the 2nd shift from 1 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., with rotating 10-hour shifts (2-2-2-3 pattern). Training will occur on either the 2nd or 3rd shift. The work environment is a cleanroom setting, which requires gowning procedures. Certain processes last up to six hours, and you must stay in the core until the process is complete. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Louis, MO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.50 - $27.03/hr.
