Job Title

Required Qualifications:

• Associate degree or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred)
• Minimum of two years' experience in a higher education, aviation or industrial environment
• Demonstrated supervisory experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of departmental facilities to ensure safe, clean and orderly operation
• Submit and track work orders along with other documentation
• Assist in the procurement, tracking, and regular inspection/movement of departmental aviation equipment
• Coordinate with Facilities, Campus Safety, IT, and Student Life
• Support accreditation visits, FAA inspections, airport administration visits and guest tours
• Supervise lab technicians and student workers
• Assist with the planning and scheduling of classes and/or special events
• Attends or conducts meetings to exchange information; attends in-service training and classes, seminars, or conferences to improve professional skills. Performs related tasks as necessary such as serving on committees.
• Support the Chair/Director of the School of Aeronautical Sciences

• Successful candidate should be flexible and highly effective at multi-tasking
• Possess strong organizational skills
• Demonstrated the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team
• Must have good customer service skills and effective in communicating orally and verbally
• Have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and comfortable learning new software
