Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year in Somerville, TN. This full-time, onsite opportunity offers the chance to support students in a self-contained classroom while working alongside a collaborative educational team dedicated to student growth and success.

Work Schedule:

• Full-Time

• Onsite

• 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM

• 2026–2027 School Year

Qualifications:

• Valid Tennessee Special Education Teaching License required

• CDC Certification required

• Previous experience working in a self-contained special education classroom preferred

• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills

• Knowledge of special education compliance, IEP development, and implementation

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction aligned with IEP goals and Tennessee state standards

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

• Collaborate with families, related service providers, administrators, and general education staff

• Implement evidence-based academic, behavioral, and functional interventions

• Support students' academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and functional development

• Collect and maintain accurate student progress data and documentation

• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration

• Create a structured, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
