The Front Desk Agent is responsible for being the first point of contact as well as the first impression with guests, handling all stages of a guest’s stay, which can include multitasking, and performing the following duties in a manner that reflects our hotel’s vision, mission, and core values.

Compensation:

$14 - $16 hourly

Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests with a warm smile and ensure their check-in process is smooth and efficient.
• Handle guest inquiries and requests promptly, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and care.
• Maintain accurate records of guest information and transactions, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready and meet our high standards.
• Resolve guest complaints with empathy and efficiency, turning challenges into positive experiences.
• Promote hotel services and amenities, enhancing the guest experience and encouraging repeat visits.
• Manage reservations and cancellations, optimizing room availability and occupancy rates for maximum efficiency and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of hotel industry experience or related job preferred
• Excellent time management skills, organizational skills, customer service skills, and interpersonal skills
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Well-versed in taking telephone calls and handling stressful situations
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems
