Overview
Group 1 Honda Kingwood is growing and looking to add an experienced Automotive Technician to our team at our high-volume Honda dealership!
We're seeking a seasoned technician with multi-brand repair experience who can diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicles and is ready to build a long-term career with a Fortune 204 automotive retailer.
Our technicians take pride in their work, are committed to delivering a great customer experience, and enjoy being part of a team that supports growth and development.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality repairs efficiently and accurately, following dealership and factory standards
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and test automotive systems across multiple makes and models
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Road-test vehicles to verify successful repairs
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
- Provide timely updates to service advisors on repair status and estimated completion times for customer communication
- Participate in ongoing training to stay current with evolving automotive technology
- Mentor and support less experienced technicians as needed
- Uphold company values in all interactions with customers, coworkers, and vendors
Qualifications
- Extensive experience as an automotive technician working across multiple brands required
- ASE Master Certification highly preferred
- Additional ASE or manufacturer certifications a huge plus
- Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
- Own tools and tool proficiency
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Must have a Valid Driver's License
