Compensation (Hourly: Flat-Rate) $32.00 - $40.00 / hour Job Description Summary: Lone Star Chevrolet is seeking an experienced Diesel Technician to join our service team. We are looking for a professional with a strong background in heavy engine repair and maintenance. Duties and Responsibilities Diagnose and repair GM diesel engines, fuel systems, and emissions components. Perform maintenance and repairs on transmissions, drivetrains, and differentials. Work on electrical and electronic systems, including sensors, modules, and wiring. Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostic tests using GM-specific tools and software. Perform brake, suspension, and steering system repairs as needed. Ensure compliance with manufacturer guidelines and warranty procedures. Complete detailed repair orders, documenting work performed and parts used. Assist with recalls, bulletins, and software updates for GM diesel vehicles. Qualifications 3+ years of experience as a Diesel Technician, with a strong understanding of diesel engines. Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and related systems. Knowledge of automotive systems, components, and repair procedures. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
