Business Development Coordinator
Accurant International is seeking a Business Development Coordinator to support the preparation of high-quality proposals, contracts, customer documentation, and other sales materials for utilities and other critical infrastructure organizations. This role works closely with Solutions Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and other business development units to coordinate proposal development, maintain proposal/contract templates, and assist with commercial aspects of proposals/contracts. The position is ideal for an early-career professional with strong organizational and writing skills who is interested in working in a technical industry.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating the development and submission of proposals and RFP responses, including organizing inputs from technical, commercial, and management teams.
- Tracking proposal deadlines, action items, and deliverables to ensure timely submissions.
- Assisting with drafting proposal narratives, executive summaries, and customer-facing documentation.
- Supporting communications and coordination activities with utility customers during proposal, RFP, and contract processes.
- Formatting and copyediting proposal documents to ensure consistency, accuracy, and professional presentation.
- Working with internal legal/financial staff to complete commercial components of proposals/contracts.
- Maintaining proposal templates, past proposal archives, and reusable content libraries.
- Assisting with organizing and tracking contracts, statements of work, and other commercial development efforts.
- Leveraging AI and proposal automation tools to streamline proposal and contract development processes.
- Helping maintain internal records related to proposals, contracts, and project documentation.
