Position Profile This position provides clerical and administrative support to the Theatre Department, including waitlisting, pre‑admission bookings, theatre list preparation and patient admissions, to support the effective operation of Surgical services. Eligibility to Apply To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments). Pre‑Employment Health Assessment (PEHA) Please note this recruitment process requires completion of a satisfactory Pre‑Employment Health Assessment. An unsatisfactory PEHA will result in the offer of employment being withdrawn. The PEHA policy is available on request. Recruitment Process Notice The selection process may be initially used to fill the advertised vacancy and can also be used to fill other similar vacancies throughout the health service. If the successful applicant declines or vacates the advertised vacancy, the next most suitable applicant may be selected from this process. This option remains valid for 12 months from the date the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
