Registered Nurse Operating Room

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active RN License Certifications: CNOR is a plus Must-Have: Robotic experience Ortho experience Description: The unit is equipped with 16 operating rooms and runs one team of RN, Surgical Assistant, and Surgical Tech per room during the day shift. The team on day shift consists of 16 RNs, 16 Surgical Assistants, and 16 Surgical Techs. Evening shifts are tapered to 4 teams from 3-5 PM, 2 teams from 5-7 PM, and 1 team from 7-11 PM. Call starts for additional 2 teams at 3 PM. There is a call only requirement for the night shift. The patient ratio is 1-1. The unit utilizes various OR equipment, including robotics, and is involved in procedures in neurosurgery, general, plastics, urology, and orthopedics. Candidates without robotic or orthopedic experience will not be considered for the role. Neurosurgical experience is preferred. All procedures are performed except for transplant and cardiac surgeries. A best-fit personality would be a team player.
