Our organization is currently looking for a Board Eligible/Board Certified Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to become a part of our Behavioral Health Group Practice located in Melville, Long Island, NY. We are in search of a dedicated individual with exceptional clinical and interpersonal abilities, who can effectively collaborate within a multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will be open to working with both Child & Adolescent patients as well as some adult outpatient cases.

This position presents a remarkable chance to join our Behavioral Health Group Practice , an outpatient program dedicated to providing care for both children and adults. Our services encompass outpatient psychiatric treatment delivered by a team of psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and social workers, focusing on evaluation and medication management for various disorders, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, and post-traumatic stress disorder.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and treatment for children, adolescents, and some adults.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.
• Engage in medication management and therapeutic interventions.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.
• Strong clinical and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
