Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on each client's unique needs and backgrounds.
\n
• Facilitate therapeutic sessions using diverse methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to address a variety of mental health issues.
\n
• Document client progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations and maintain detailed records within our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
\n
• Engage in regular consultations and collaboration with colleagues to enhance treatment strategies and share best practices.
\n
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to expand your therapeutic skills, especially in short-term individual and group therapy techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position serves a diverse client base, including children, adolescents, adults, and families who are dealing with various challenges such as trauma, grief, loss, and relationship difficulties. You will be expected to approach each client with respect for their cultural significance, ensuring that your therapeutic methods resonate with their individual and familial contexts.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s Degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Studies, or a related field from an accredited program.
\n
• Current, unrestricted LMFT license to practice in Illinois.
\n
• Fluency in both English and Spanish, with robust communication skills to offer bilingual psychotherapy services.
\n
• A minimum of two years of experience in a mental health setting, effectively working with children, adults, and families.
\n
• Demonstrated cultural competence, sensitivity to individual family customs, and the ability to work with clients from diverse backgrounds.
\n
• Trained in evidence-based treatment modalities, including CBT, TF-CBT or EMDR.
\n
• Willingness to provide in-network services on at least one insurance panel.
\n
• Proficiency in utilizing EHR software and Microsoft Office, along with readiness to adapt to new technology as required.

• Ability to conduct telehealth sessions in a compliant manner, as well as in-person meetings from the practice office.
\n
• Valid driver’s license and insurance, with a reliable means to attend clients if necessary.
\n
• Availability to work two evenings per week and one weekend day.
\n
• Strong commitment to attendance, punctuality, and accountability in your role.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialization in specific areas such as trauma, LGBTQ+ issues, grief & loss, or perinatal mental health.

• Previous experience in outpatient private practice settings.
\n
• Successful completion of HIPAA training.
\n
• Ability to engage in self-reflection, self-disclosure, and demonstrate empathy in therapeutic relationships.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $105,000 annually, with opportunities for bonuses based on performance.
