Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms presented by clients.

• Utilize evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to deliver effective therapeutic interventions.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment options, and essential self-care practices to empower them in their recovery.

• Monitor and document client progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as needed to support optimal outcomes.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated and comprehensive care.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to enhance therapeutic approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will be interacting primarily with clients suffering from mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. You will also provide assistance to vulnerable groups such as the homeless, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse. Your clinical interventions will not only focus on alleviating symptoms but will also work toward improving overall quality of life, fostering resilience, and promoting long-term mental health stability.

Qualifications\n
