Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Sierra Mental Care Center, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments with couples and individual clients to identify the emotional and psychological challenges being faced.

• Facilitating therapy sessions that address complex family dynamics, including relationship conflicts, job stress, and issues stemming from blended families and divorce.
\n
• Implementing treatment plans aimed at improving communication among family members and enhancing conflict resolution strategies.
\n
• Providing therapeutic interventions for a wide array of issues including alcohol abuse, grief and loss, and psychological abuse.
\n
• Monitoring client progress and adjusting therapy approaches as necessary based on individual and family needs.
\n
• Collaborating with other behavioral health professionals and resources to deliver comprehensive and client-centered care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of patients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing various challenges. You will have the opportunity to support clients experiencing significant life changes, such as adjustment to separation and divorce, as well as those dealing with chronic stressors including medical issues and familial conflicts. Your therapeutic approach will be crucial in helping clients navigate their journeys toward mental wellness and resilience.

Qualifications\n

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• An active and unrestricted Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) designation.

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related mental health field.

Compensation and Benefits\n
