Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to facilitate meaningful change in clients’ lives.

• Engage in initial and ongoing assessments to evaluate client needs, establishing rapport and trust from the first interaction.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, client history, and specific therapeutic goals.

• Monitor clients' progress towards treatment goals, adjusting plans as necessary to reflect changing needs and circumstances.

• Actively participate in team meetings, contributing insights and strategies that enhance the overall treatment plan for each client.

• Document all client interactions, assessments, and progress notes thoroughly and accurately in our electronic health record system.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LMFT will primarily work with clients grappling with substance use disorders alongside a range of mental health issues, such as depression and anxiety. Our patient population often includes families and couples seeking to navigate complex interpersonal dynamics, making your expertise in relationship counseling and family therapy invaluable in facilitating their recovery and enhancing their communication practices.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.

• A current and active California license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), which must not be under suspension or probation.

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in an outpatient setting, demonstrating the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Exceptional communication skills are essential, enabling you to build trusting relationships with clients while fostering a calming therapeutic space.

Preferred Experience\n

• Training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is highly valued, though not required, as we encourage continuous professional development.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive compensation package ranging between USD 120,000 – 130,000 annually, along with comprehensive benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as paid time off and retirement savings plans.
