Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients to determine the severity and impact of their mood disorder symptoms, checking for factors like intensity, frequency, and duration.

• Work closely with clients to formulate personalized treatment plans that cater to their unique needs, goals, and preferences, ensuring a tailored approach to therapy.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic strategies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to promote client recovery and resilience.

• Provide educational resources and support to clients and their families to help them understand mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies.

• Monitor client progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing evaluations and feedback.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other health professionals to provide integrated care and ensure a cohesive treatment approach for each client.

• Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatments to enhance therapy methods and patient care.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development opportunities to refine skills and enhance client care.

• Advocate for mental health awareness and support efforts to reduce stigma, ensuring clients feel understood and valued.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be primarily working with individuals experiencing a range of mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Your clients may come from various backgrounds, including vulnerable populations such as homeless individuals, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse. This role allows you to make a significant impact in their recovery journeys and contribute to their overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) .

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

• Salary range of USD 70,000 - 90,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
